Founder & Technical Director · Lead Data Consultant
Strategic and technical leadership across senior data analytics, business intelligence, data governance, automation, and Microsoft Fabric consulting engagements, while coordinating MERIT Vision’s technical delivery team to support high-quality implementation across government and private-sector clients.
Supporting reliable, consistent, and scalable data solutions that strengthen decision-making across one of Queensland Government’s largest infrastructure portfolios. Within the Information Governance and Digital Enablement directorate, I contribute to the uplift of data quality, reporting standardisation, metadata management, and digitally enabled analytics across the asset lifecycle.
I conduct data discovery, profiling, and quality assessment across systems of varying maturity; set up and operate Microsoft Fabric (pipelines, Data Factory, lakehouses, notebooks, Python/PySpark, SQL, CI/CD) for governed ingestion and transformation; and standardise reporting through Power BI and data-quality dashboards — all aligned to the broader Digital Enablement Program.
Led end-to-end analytics, visualisation, and reporting for Australia’s premier disability software platform (650+ organisations, 350,000+ NDIS participants): sophisticated tabular models, advanced interactive dashboards, and operational/strategic reports built with complex DAX, rigorous SQL (SSMS, MySQL, Azure), and ETL into Azure Data Warehouse and Fabric.
Architected Star/Snowflake models, applied Row-Level Security via Azure Analysis Services, and delivered regional and geo-spatial analytics mapping participants, provider performance, and service delivery — while coordinating MERIT Vision consultants to strengthen CareView’s analytical maturity and reporting reliability.
- Designed and optimised large-scale data architectures using SQL Server and ClickHouse to enhance processing speed and performance.

- Delivered real-time, interactive Power BI dashboards driven by Fabric’s native integration and visualised directly from the OneLake lakehouse.
- Applied AI/ML — sentiment analysis, forecasting, and object detection — to extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Led cross-functional teams across sectors, ensuring quality control, on-time delivery, and adherence to data-governance principles.
- Implemented data quality management (DQM) frameworks ensuring integrity, consistency, and compliance across platforms.
- Translated technical insights into compelling narrative reports and executive briefs, enhancing strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
